Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress on Spanish film and on television. Her roles included films like Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in the year 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez, works as a painter. After taking her first piano class at age four, she started to learn ballet. It was her most trusted friend who could speak English which taught her to speak the language. She was enrolled at Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico when she completed her studies at high school. In her third year she did a course on interpretive and textual aspects of the program. But in 2010 she quit the program due to her role for the role of Planes para manana. The role she played in the film earned her the Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the top actress of the year.
