She was born in Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November, 1986. Her father Vincenzo Barba is the mother of Valerie Barba. Her family and she moved from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was six years old. Her high school studies within New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the university. Since the age of four, she has been a violinist, Violingirl was her nickname. Due to her musical performances, she became known as the Violin Girl. She gave violin lessons to kids in the area. At the age of 19 she was a contestant on Season 6 of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit song Free. She was however eliminated from the show after she finished 16th. She has sung several songs like 2009's "The Christmas Song as well as 2010's Out for Blood. She has also appeared in Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba became famous as an American when she competed in American Idol's 6th season. After getting eliminated, she reached the 16th spot in the competition, she began performing the front of camera. In the past, she's appeared in minor parts in films, and was a guest on Fear Factor in the Season 2012. Daily Mail reported that on 21 November 2019, she was handed an almost four-year sentence for years for conspiracy to distribute Fentanyl. In July 2018 the artist pleaded guilty of being in possession of 400 grams or more of the drug and was planning to market it. However she was arrested in the process of delivering nearly two pounds of the substance to a stash house located in Virginia in October 2018.
