Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's amateur career. Ladd recovered from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the first round she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had a fierce combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
